Jumping 2007
Gitane will soon be 10 y.o. She likes to work and learns very quickly. She has been inspected and approved at age 3 by the Canadian warmblood horse breeders association. In 2003, at 4 she begun her carreer in the hunter ring. Calm, focused, listening. She has good natural jumping technique and is very quick with her hind legs (As her sire Goldschlager ). She also is a very powerful jumper. She has already jumped over 4'3" on isolated oxer or with 2 strides combinations. She is easy to ride and very confortable at all gaits. Very rideable, at age 4 she won 3 classes the same day with 3 different riders !
Now well trained for jumping, she is very carefull, learns from her errors quickly and is able to make these last second corrections that we sometimes need. She is very focused.
Jumping 2007
Her sire, Goldschlager, the only registered breeding stallion by Gotthard to stand in North America, was first in his testing (dressage, jumping and Cross country). As a five and six year old, he won three major jumping events over fences up to 6'6". He has also given his natural movement and grace to Gitane.
Bred for performance, Gitane d'Aubrac also offers a great breeding value now or in the future.
Gitane is showing excellent behavior, she is friendly, loves humans and cares...she is very easy to handle in every occasion and trailers well.
She can be ridden by everyone in the family, at 8 y.o.our daughter used to switch from the pony to Gitane to test her learning on a "real horse" as she was saying.
